The Atto 3 is BYD’s offering to the electric compact crossover segment that embodies a fusion of modern design, cutting-edge technology, and eco-friendly mobility.

Its exterior exudes a sleek and aerodynamic profile, characterized by smooth curves and a streamlined silhouette. Sporting a slew of features along with its unique design, the Atto 3 is BYD’s latest fighter presenting Singapore buyers a greener choice in the highly competitive crossover segment.

Launch

The 2025 BYD Atto 3 has already been launched in Singapore and is available now. It features several updates over the previous model, including new ventilated front seats, a new rim design, an updated Thaumas Black interior option, the new BYD Digital Key, and upgraded ADAS features. 

Platform, Chassis and Powertrain

At the core of the Atto 3 is a permanent magnet synchronous motor that propels the front wheels, delivering 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque. Customers buying the Atto 3 are given a choice between two BYD Blade Battery options: a 49.92 kWh variant or a 60.48 kWh variant. The former grants a range of 410 km, while the latter extends the range to an impressive 480 km.

Recharging the Atto 3’s batteries is facilitated by a Type II charging system, boasting a 7kW rating that can fully recharge the crossover within 8 to 8.5 hours. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a portable 2.3kW charger for added convenience.
For faster charging times, the Atto 3 supports rapid DC charging. The Dynamic variant accommodates up to 70kW of DC charging, while the Premium version elevates this capacity to 80 kW. In the event of a power outage at home, the Atto 3 offers a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, allowing it to power external devices as needed, think of it as a power bank on wheels if you will.

Underneath, the Atto sits on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, supported by MacPherson struts up front, and a multi-link suspension setup for the rear. The Atto 3 is also equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels.

Technology Features

Inside the Atto 3’s minimalist interior are the gadgets for comfort and entertainment. Positioned at the center is a 12.8-inch touchscreen media display, offering the flexibility to be configured in either landscape or portrait layouts. This multifunctional display not only delivers essential infotainment features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto but also oversees various in-car functions and controls of the Atto 3.

Additional features include a five-inch digital instrument cluster, an eight-speaker or six-speaker sound system, automatic climate control, automatic air-conditioning, and a wireless phone charger.

Aside from the entertainment features, the Atto 3 is also equipped with tech that makes driving easier and safer. Standard features available in both the Dynamic and Premium include four rear parking sensors, Auto Hold, Hill-Descent Control, and Traction Control. Features exclusive to the Premium variant include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.

Safety

Safety features in the BYD Atto 3 include a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability program, traction control system, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, a 360-degree camera system, parking sensors, and an array of airbags, including dual front, dual side, and dual curtain front airbags.

Ensuring enhanced on-road safety, the Extended Range Premium variant offers a range of intelligent driver aids to provide added peace of mind. These include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.

The 2025 BYD Atto 3 price in Singapore starts around S$205,888 for the Premium model and S$196,888 for the standard model, though prices vary depending on the specific trim, current promotions, and COE (Certificate of Entitlement) premiums. For example, one price list shows the Performance model priced at S$205,888 and the Standard model at S$196,888 before additional costs and registration fees. Promotions, such as those that include trade-in and financing rebates, can lower the final on-the-road price.
